What We Do

Data Aggregation

We continuously monitor Armenian news sources and official reports, extracting accident data into a structured, searchable format.

Event Deduplication

Multiple reports about the same accident are automatically matched and merged, preserving all fact versions from each source.

Bilingual Records

All records maintain both Armenian and English text, preserving the original Armenian reporting alongside translations.

Location Mapping

Accident locations are extracted and geocoded where possible, enabling geographic analysis across provinces, cities, and roads.

Image Archive

Source images are archived with EXIF metadata preservation, providing visual documentation of reported incidents.

Open Research

The database supports road safety research, policy analysis, and public awareness through transparent, accessible data.

Part of the Shtemaran Family Knowledge Base

This project is the first module of a broader initiative to preserve and organize Armenian family knowledge — from research data to books, art, and cultural heritage.
